Law enforcement use of AEDs
While most fire service and EMS units have posts and quarters to respond from, law enforcement is usually in their car and on patrol. Minutes can be saved when the police can be used as first responders for non breathing patients

AEDs at home
We know the majority of sudden cardiac deaths occur at home. So what can we do to get more units where they will make the most difference to your family? Can we get insurance companies to pay for them for high risk families?

What are the risks of having...or NOT having...an AED?
Can you be sued if you have an AED but don't use it? How about if you don't have an AED and the family thinks you should have? What if your AED does not work? If you shock somebody that does not need shocked? This is where we find out!

Free or low cost AEDs available
I occasionally get units that I can donate or others are willing to donate. I have open box items or trade in units I can make available inexpensively. If you have a special need, but do not need a new unit, or would be willing to use a demo/rental unit, let me know and I will try to match you with an available unit.
